Tried removing chip and left the phone turned off over night. Second day with no update.

So for this latest update that supposedly fixes the VoLTE on Verizon / call quality - is the update version NPN25.137-43-5 ? I just ordered the phone the other day from Motorola, so just asking ahead on what to look for to make sure I have the latest, or for when I'd receive the update and can test if it works correctly.

I purchased the 64-GB G5 Plus (for my daughter-in-law) from Egghead.  The updates just came down last night.  She is a Verizon pre-paid service.  My updates came down yesterday morning which surprised me because my phone was the Amazon Prime 64-GB G5 Plus.  Both my phone & daughter-in-law's show significant improvement!  

 

Just got my son a Costco one yesterday which was a 32-GB G5 Plus ($219 w/$40 off--good price).  He will get that changed over tonight.  So 3 different phones from 3 different sources.  We'll see how long it will take my son's new phone to get the update.  He is a Verizon pre-paid.  

 

The fact is I love this phone (great storage, speed good, photo good, lasting power--best in any phone I've ever had).  So other than this call quality issue, I do love these phone and their prices!!

Where is Matt? 

He pops in says there is a update,getting everyone going. Then says amazon phones are not getting update yet. As we have seen who the hell knows who is getting the update. Seen a lot of prepaid phones getting it. Seen amazon phones getting it. We know they come out in batches but you see why maybe everyone is asking questions.

Don't know about Matt, but Tom hasn't been here since yesterday afternoon.


Still, it's only been 2 days since they started rolling it out.

Sucks that they didn't prioritize the IMEIs from people in this thread, but I know how corporate systems work and the people running the update system may have not asked for the list, or just ignored it.

I updated yesterday all three of my 5Gs Verizon unlocked phones. Enhanced LTE showed up on 2 of them.

 

But on the 3rd one I had to read instructions at https://www.verizonwireless.com/support/hd-voice-for-android-faqs/   and read instructions on How can I get HD Voice? to enable HD Voice of my Verizon Account for that phone. 15 minutes later the option appeared in the Settings. I enabled the Enhanced LTE and seems to be working great. Now I can say I have great phones.

Still no update for me, unlocked bought at Best buy in April. Verizon prepaid
