Amazon vs. direct

Assuming the G5+ will be available on Amazon and if warranty work needed to be performed. Would the warranty process be the same regardless of a device was purchased direct from Motorola or a third party retailer such as Amazon?

Thank you!

Hi ryjb219,

Yes, as long as you are within the 1-year standard manufacturer`s warranty. If the device was purchased from an authorized retailer of Motorola, we will ask for proof of purchase if needed.

The only thing to consider may be the initial exchange or return period - that may vary between Amazon and Moto - this would include exchange for a refund, or defect exchange.

but after the initial period (usually between 15 and 30 days) warranty would be handled by Motorola regardless of where you purchased.
