It is clear that you have not bothered to read past postings in this thread. The solution that worked for me is in several earlier postings.

I am glad. You can also close them on background by taking off them from background free.

EDT !

yes as you said I had not reqd the early text but now I have read some of them and firstly I can't reset it or try each and every app one by one to find out the problematic app. as I don't have time or patience for such tacts. I came here by google search and thought I could find some solution. I don't know how "safe mode" works or to open it.

I simply wanted my phone to be problem free.

Also as you said, if there is any other solution in the earlier texts ( I read till they were getting more and more technical ) please notify.

thanks

Sorry, but if you don't have the time and patience then you just have to put up with the issues you have.

I had all these issues after updating to Oreo, and I don't have time to mess around. so I tried the safe mode option first (you can google for it) and when these things did not solve my problem, I just did a factory reset. Took me a few minutes.  Then I went to the play store and selected the apps I use regularly and just installed the latest versions. Job done.  No problems since.

I think it will take just as long to configure a new phone, so its really up to you.  Just bear in mind that many of the issues are not unique to Oreo and equally, some of the apps in your phone may not be compatible with Oreo.

It's nothing that Motorola or Lenovo can really help you with since Motorola made a sales point of the fact that their implementation of Android is very close to the native code from Google. Bearing in mind that the vast majority of users don't have these issues and also that a factory reset has in many cases solved the problems caused by bad apps, the way ahead is obvious.  Otherwise your option is to dump your phone and migrate to the iPhone and hope that Apple can do better with their updates.

Hey, first time I could give a kudo here.

I gave EdT one for his patience. My patience in this thread is fading with people trying to invent not existing issues or don't bother to read.

If they can't handle issues like these, how on Earth they handle all other devices around, because they give more trouble.

EDT !

thank you for the reply !

I really appreciate your help. okay if the problem can get solved I can put one night to it ( the internet speed here is bad, only get like 10mbps at nights ).

May I ask you a favour ?

can I list the apps I use in the phone and if you knew any troubling app, I will not reinstall them !

Because this issue is getting worse by day...

my battery percentage is reducing 1% for 1 minute of screen on time with google Chrome usage !

I'm sorry I cannot help you with this, as I do not have any specific information on apps that may affect your phone.

My suggestion as I mentioned before, is that you only reload the apps you use regularly, making sure they update to the latest version. Then review how your phone operates.  In my case, the battery usage returned to normal, and over the next few weeks after the factory reset, I have occasionally added an app when I needed to, but there are still many apps I never bothered to restore as I never used them.

Users that have loaded utilties to show CPU usage have reported that Oreo uses all the cores even for simple operations. I have not bothered with investigating this aspect, since my phone is working normally as before,

Just bear in mind one thing - make sure you record the details of any APNs that your ISP has set in the phone so that you can recreate them after the factory reset. ISPs will detect if you connect with a new phone but not always if you connect with an existing phone, even if reset - they probably record the IMEI number. So you would need to recreate the settings that would otherwise be sent to your phone.

Good luck!
