There are lots of discussions starting in the last 48 hours on this blog about this problem... So it appears to be a widespread problem.
I've called Motorola Customer Service several times over the last 48 hours and can't get their attention.... just of alot of I'm sorry's. I was told by Customer Service that they cannot back-out the update... I'm guessing that's a canned statement; I have a hard time believing they can''t back it out or provide instructions for backing it out.
I was told the only solution is to send them my phone (still under warranty) and they will send me a refurbed phone. Not acceptable to me. Has anyone found a way to deal with this?
If not I think customers need to start hounding motorola "in mass":
1) Email their executive complaint person at: email@example.com
2) If you have a local news station that researches unresolved consumer complaints, call them.

@Jonnienashville I've done it twice myself, but the first time did not work, nor the 2nd time so far, CPU X says my phone is running 33C(92F) on boot, but feels warmer even with my case off(I use a wallet case). Going to put on charge at 88% battery left, and see what happens.
Edit: to be noted My partition wipe took less then 30sec both times, so don't know if that has anything to do with it.
