Carrier Aggregation support in Australian networks

Which Australian networks with Moto G5 Plus XT1685 support carrier aggregation? I've tried MVNOs with Optus and Vodafone networks but only get under 50 megabits per second.

Hi brisdaz

Please check with local Carrier for their supported networks. Thanks!

Re: Carrier Aggregation support in Australian networks

I know this is a year old but I never got a satisfactory answer.

Moto G5 Plus (xt1685) is supposed to support carrier aggregation and does with a Telstra MVNO, Belong, at around 80 to 100mbps and has a 4G+ icon on the status bar.

However with Vodafone MVNO, Kogan Mobile, the Moto G5 Plus doesn't seem to even though it supports the individual frequencies (2100MHZ, 1800MHZ, 850MHZ). There is only a 4G icon on the status bar. Other phones seem to support CA as shown by speedtest results on the ozbargain forum.

What needs to be done to support it?

Kind Regards

Brisdaz.
