Gorilla Glass Protection

2017-04-17, 9:17 AM

I bought G5 plus few days before and I just got one scratch on screen. This surpised me because I was so relied on Gorilla glass protection. What to do now? I want to know How can I claim this under phone warranty.

Please help me in this.

Scratches are not covered under warranty. Even gorilla Glass is not scratch proof.

This is cheating. Now a days motorola giving gorrila glass as a selling point. If there are not sure about this technology then they should mention the note in phone's description. Because like me many people are relied on gorilla glass protection and not buying any screen guards. Previously, I was using Nexus 5 for 2 years I never faced such issues with gorrila glass. This is not done. This is serious question on Motorola quality.

I think, you could or should read more about Gorilla glass. As much as I remember, there were generations that were softer but more shatter resistant. Anyway, I do not feel that this would be Motorola's problem - things just happen sometimes and this time it was with you.
