Hi, you can also find the lines when watching your friend's phone carefully under sunlight or lighting condition. They are in different visible level but all within the tolerance and do no harm to touch/display experience if you power on the devices during daily use.

We'll implement improved design in the next generation. And so sorry for any conventience this may cause.

Yes I also have these lines but they are not harming performance of my screen

I got this phone last week. I have the same issue. Kind of irritating to say the least.

Can I get the LCD replaced at Motorol Service centers?

My thoughts exactly. They should provide a replacement (because there are two different displays for same phone, one has these lines with greater visibility (which I got) and on the other, they are hardly visible)

Quick update, I went in and opted for phone replacement (I had 10 days replacement service from Flipkart). Fortunately, the replacement phone did not have those Horizontal lines on the display. 

People can try this as an option. Who knows you can be lucky too!!!

I can seen blue lines in the display when phone screen is off Monday light or in night below direct light of lamp. And can also see while tilting the phone  .. is this a problem or can go for replacement? Else everything is OK. It does not effect when screen is on.

I explained the whole thing bout lines getting displayed when seen at particular angle and that this issue is discussed on Lenovo forums. I also told him that Lenovo guys are saying this as non issue.

However I have convinced him that it does not look good after paying 17K with dirty lines on screen and requested for Refund. Note: I spoke to Team Leader. They said that they do not have Refund policy but replacement policy (although I knew, but was taking a chance) and placed a replacement request on my behalf. I got the replacement phone it flat 2 days (picked up old phone and delivered new one at the same time).

Although the TL said that no one has complained regarding this issue, still he would help me out with replacement as I had asked for refund.

I think whoever has got that faulty piece should call up and raise replacement only then the issue will be publicized.

Surprisingly none of the reviews highlighted or recognized this issue.

Thanks. I've already placed a replacement request.
You share my exact thoughts on the issue.
And yes, I'm too surprised that none of the reviews mentioned this. It doesn't feel comfortable knowing that I've paid a hefty price for the phone. Hope they'll provide a replacement ASAP.
