Re: Red corners on 1080p 60fps recorded videos?

2017-03-29, 17:10 PM

Hey can you plz hurry up? We here in India have 10 days to return or replace.

We will return and get our refund if this a sort of hardware issue. Plz reply.

Otherwise if this 10 days will pass we have to mess with Lenovo. Which personally I don't want.

Those who are in charge here plz let us know what is this issue?

Should we go for a replacement? Or it's some kind of software glitch?

Is this camera can't handle 60 fps?

We are waiting here for ur valuable replies.

We'll need to look into this before we can respond. I would not replace or repair until we have a better idea about it.

I personally think that dhkdc is right and it's related to the laser focus. But we'll see.

This is primarily a user to user forum. When someone reports something, and Moto employees get it - either via a moderator or they reply directly - they still have to collect data and pass it on to an engineering team to investigate.

From my experience, After that, you may or may not get a verbal update quickly. It takes time to find root cause of problems. And even after problem is found, the best answer you can get will be "it will be addressed in a future update" - you will likely not get a date or timeline.

my personal belief it is highly unlikely it will be fixed in 10 days.

You can keep posting, asking for an answer, but it won't come quicker just because you keep asking

My aim was not that. I was asking about if this issue is related to software bug or it's a hardware related thing. If it's software I have no worry even if it'll take a month to fix the issue. But if it's the hardware issue (which I don't think it is seens majority of users have this issue) than if anyone of you guys can let us know it'll be much easier for us to replace or return it.

I understand your situation, but as AlfaDog said, this will not get an anser too soon. My recommendation is to go to the place where you bought your phone and change it for another G5 Plus, so you will have 10 more days to wait. If we don't get an answer in those next 10 days, consider if this bug is worth to change your phone for another model. I know that the price/features relation is so good with this phone so, think about it. I'm telling this as an user.

No man if after 10 days when u have a replaced device u won't be able to replace it again. They'll just refund it. I don't mind this thing as I said before. I am just curious what's causing this issue.

I did misspeak - I meant infrared, not laser. Sorry about that.

As others have said, it will take some time to understand this and see if and how it can be addressed. Exchanging is pointless at this point, as I suggested earlier.

Matt

Please do not PM me - if you have issues, search the forums for threads on your topic and post there, or start a new thread. Thanks!
