The last security patch I received for my Moto G5 is dated November 2017. When I go into settings and system updates, I am told my device's software is up to date. Clearly it isn't. My partner has the same model phone and we obtained them at the same time from Tesco. He has had 2 security updates this year. He received the latest one for May today.
I am concerned that the security on my phone is vulnerable. Has anyone had experience of this and can tell me how to correct the problem?
I had some suggestions my Motorola but it required a factory reset and I really don't relish the prospect of installing everything again.
Any help would be much appreciated.

As you are in the UK, we have good consumer laws, your phone is probably still under warranty, if so your best option is to call them and get them to sort it rather than attempt to sort it yourself.
