Turn off app suggestions on App Drawer

Hi. I have a new Moto G5 Plus. It comes with the new Motorola Launcher and apparently on the app drawer it always shows the most used apps (or something like that, because I'm not sure about the criteria it uses to choose the apps).

I want to DISABLE that function. I don't want my phone to show what are the most used apps. I just want a clean app drawer. How can I disable it?

Thanks.

Re: Turn off app suggestions on App Drawer

I don't know of any way to disable it, but you can install a different launcher that doesn't do that

Re: Turn off app suggestions on App Drawer

You should be able to open the google now app. Select the sandwich button on the top left. Select settings. Then there should be an option for App Suggestions with a toggle switch at the bottom.

It isnt there for me. If it isn't there for you too then this has to be something that Motorola changed about this verison of Android. Y

Moto Z2 Play doesn't have the option as well.

Very, very frustrating.

Re: Turn off app suggestions on App Drawer

1. Long press on the home screen

2. Click Settings

For Moto Z2 Play:

3. Click 'Swipe Access' and then select Nothing, AppFlash, or Google feed

For Moto Z2 Force:

3. Turn off 'App suggestions'
