vaillant app not working properly

Hi guys, we had a new gas boiler installed at home (Vaillant product) with a thermostat known as the 'Vsmart' which is operated off our phones to control our heating system. Each time we open the app on our phone, it takes between 1-2 seconds to identify our heating system and because of this the boiler turns itself off. When we use a Samsug tablet or iphone there is no delay once we open the app and it shows our heating system immediately on the app. 

We are currently in contact with Vaillant engineers who have visited our home on 3 occassions and after lengthy discussions we are warming to the fact that Moto phones have a 1-2 second lag as they open the app. Both myself and my partner use a G5 and G6 respectively and it is doing the same on both phones with the app having been reinstalled several times on each phone.

Am I missing somethign or is there a known glitch or setting that needs to be changed for this app to work correctly? Thanks in advance.
