Thanks for writing to us! I would suggest you perform Clear Cache in your device. Go to Settings > Apps & notification > App Info >
select Camera > Storage > Clear Cache. Then "Force Stop" the camera > close > restart the camera and check. Also, take the Hardware test-- go to Menu > Moto help > Hardware test > Camera > test. If there is a "Red exclamation mark" on it, there might be an issue with the hardware. Let us know the test result.
