FILE TRANSFER TO PC

When my pc looks at my G5S there is no contact list. it sees many folders but where is my contact folder which is what I want to copy to my PC.

There isn't a ,"Contacts" folder in Android. However what there is and you can do is Export your Contacts list as a .vcf file and copy that to your PC or another device.

 

Open your Contacts app> Settings > Import/Export and choose to export. This will save the Contacts to a file called  contacts.vcf or 00001.vcf. This can be saved to your phone's internal memory or

an SD card formatted as Portable if fitted.

 

You can also do this quicker by attaching the .vcf file an Email and send it to yourself and download it to any device you choose and Import it back into a Contacts app.

 

Note: there is a chance of duplicates being created but these can be cleaned up using the latest version of Google Contacts free from the Playstore,
