I am also facing the same issue. The photo quality gets really bad - the the gallery shows the good quality photo for a second and then it turns it into bad quality. Request moto to fix this issue as this will ruin its image with the customers.

Hi friends, same problem here.

Disappointed with this situation, because this is a really good phone.

We see good to excellent pictures as soon as we shot, but, one second after, it becomes a bad looking picture.

My wife's Moto G4 Plus takes better shots.

No news from Motorola?

At least if we can expect or not any update to solve this annoying issue.

Waiting...

Hi All,

I just started using my new Moto G5s Plus last week and noticed the same issue on both the front and rear facing cameras - through the screen viewfinder the subject looks clear and in focus, you press the shutter, you swipe to the right to view the photo and for a split second it looks sharp and in focus, then it gets slightly blurred and washed out.

Hopefully Moto/Lenovo can issue a fix soon to reduce that noise reduction or whatever is causing it.  I'd be happy with just a screen capture button of what i'm seeing in the interim even if it's lower Megapixels :P

Moto G5 Plus Camera images are faded

2017-10-23, 21:21 PM

I have been using G5 plus since last 6 months. I came across an issue but overlooked as I m not much of a selfie/ photo freak. But finally after comparing my camera with other brands I decided to talk about this.. I have compared with almost all the renowned phones of same range but my Moto G5 plus ranks nowhere near to their camera image quality (focus, sharpness and COLORS are literally **bleep**) Natural or artificial I don't see any colors that even a basic 4k phone can produce, it is very much faded here. This is happening both with camera and video mode.

Also the difference between auto and professional mode is huge. The selfies on this phone are worse No colors by default, no sharpness at all!!! And again the focus issue..

I bought this phone just bcoz there were too many good reviews about it's camera but after using it for real I am deeply regretting. Not sure if it is just with me or everyone else, but both ways this phone lets you down!

Someone please help me find a solution or the way out.
