Re: Moto G5s Plus: Image crisp in Viewfinder but blurs/dulls after capture

No Motorola, it should not get fussy, a good picture taken should not be changed into a distorted picture.

Hi guys,

Thanks for the ones who replied to their current camera version. We want to follow if you're still having issues with the latest camera update. It should be Version 7.1.0.12. You can reply to me and let me know what specific issue are you having after updating your camera with its latest software update.

Please share your phone's Build number too. Thanks!

Regards,
Daisy

Hi Daisy, it looks like the current version of Moto Camera 2 is actually 7.1.0.12, updated on Dec. 19th.

It does not appear that the post-processing issue has been fixed. The picture still looks like it softens/gets compressed when you swipe left to look at it for the first time.

Build number NPSS26.116-48-5

Daisy,

My feedback is similar.  I have build number NPS26.116-45, security patch june 1, 2017.  Camera app is 7.1.0.12

Every picture I take gets darker, yellower and fuzzier when you swipe right to look at it in Google Photos because of the post processing.   It's especially noticeable in lower light conditions, less so on outdoor shots with lots of natural light.

I appreciate you helping us with this and making sure the developer know so that they can fix it.

There's no improvement in image quality even after latest camera app update. After taking photo quality goes much lower.

I reset my phone and again updated camera app but no change in quality.

I cannot see any improvement after this update? Can you share exactly what this update contains?

Version and build sceenshot is attached.

Guys fotos is not dark in preview, this is because camera app brightness on max settings... set your brightness to max and you see preview will be OK..

Also preview is not in fully resolution, so looks sharpner..
