Does this also happen on regular calls or is it limited to these third-party apps?

it happens with these third-party apps only, but when I contacted them, they told me to contact the mobile phone manufacturer

it happens with these third-party apps only, but when I contacted them, they told me to contact the mobile phone manufacturer


Have you tried any troubleshooting steps like wiping the app cache and data?

In Lenovo k8 plus, still having this same issue, updates or any kindaa your suggestion won't work out! I've done all. Help us to get through this...

I'm using "Lenovo K8 plus" and its brand new, Meanwhile, Facing issue in "too low of microphone volume n whatsapp while send audio messages to someone". That audio recording volume is so low. It's making so frustated.

 

And also, I have followed the thread "https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/forums/v3_1/forumtopicpage/board-id/lp05_en/page/1/thread-id/815"

 

Also, I've done all the troubleshoot that you've told but issue still remains, Kindly open the thread and do the propper update untill it get solved.

 

Atleast mind the issue while Oreo update. Hope you do the needful

Hi! I've been using my new moto g 5s plus for three days now. I'm facing the same issue: recording volume on third-party apps like whatsapp, snap and easy voice recorder is really low although during calls and in camera-apps videos the audio is just fine. I've tried all the things mentioned in the link you provided. Is this bug acknowledged and is there a fix coming?

 

Edit: when using headphones the recording volume is fine

Moto G5S Plus microphone Issue: my voice not audible on other side on video and Loudspeaker calls

Bought a new G5S Plus a week ago and when I make a video call or a Loudspeaker call the other person can't hear my voice or hears it very low. Seems like the microphone isn't switching automatically. The phone is fully updated to the latest android update.

 

Has anyone else faced this? Is there a solution to this problem?

This must be an inconvenience to you, let me try to help. By the way, does it happen to all the calls? Have you tried using a headset if an issue is the same? Try to test your phone on Device Help app on your phone. Let us know.
