Ok so for some time now I get popup to install security update but I always get error when I try to update.
Today I tried every tip mentionen on this forum and the Internet ... no go.
My installed version is NPSS26.116-26-14 and i'm trying to install NPSS26. 116-26-18
Cleared cache ... no go
Removed sd card + cleared cache ... no go
Factory settings + cleared cache ... no go
hope you can help me with this

Thanks for posting. I appreciate the steps you've tried and done. Can you please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate. Please make sure that the options under Settings > Motorola Privacy are on as well, and let me know (just reply here) if it's okay for me to look at your apps to see if they are a source of problems.

Thanks for updating your profile. We have checked this. Are you using a SIM card? If not, please put a SIM card and check for an update again. And if it's still getting an error with the update kindly try the Lenovo-Moto Smart Assistant, but we can't guarantee that it will push the update successfully. Here's the link. Let me know. Thanks.

I am using a SIM card but still no update, always giving me errors. Tried it with assistant but still will not update.
Considering to get me another brand of phone ....
Thanks for trying, sorry you are still having trouble. If you have already tested in Safe Mode/performed Clear Cache/Data/Removed SD card and tried both WiFi and Mobile Data with no avail. Then the next logical option would be to have your device sent for Service where they can flash your device with the latest update available.
