We understand all your sentiments and I have already passed this issue along to our product team. We appreciate all the logs that you all have provided to help in determining what may be causing this issue. For additional help though, does anyone of you have a Mac to use to get sniffer logs? The sniffer logs will greatly help in this situation.

Can you please confirm if this is been taken as a bug and an release would be on its way during the next update.
This is happening to all of the Moto g5s users and I am afraid most of them even don't know about walk-around. Phone is good but this kind of issues takes the moto confidence away from users.
Can this be taken along as priority.

same issue is faced by me. At first i was thinking it's because of route but I have checked with 3-4 working wifi router.
Second signal drops doing anything even browser and all traffic i is redirect through mobile data .I am facing this problem after oreo update.

I did factory reset and then did set up again. BUT NO RELIEF from the wifi issue. I wanted my couple of hours!!!
Should I discard my phone and publicize it on social media? I think we all should express our frustration with the services of Lenovo/ Moto on social platform

Any update? Provide us the solution of how to remove Oreo update if your tech team is not able to fix hotspot issue. It's shame on you, why are you releasing updates if you are able to fix bugs?
