WiFi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting in G5S plus

2020-09-23, 11:51 AM

I tried connecting to multiple routers but my device does not function properly with respect to WiFi connection. It connects initially and then reconnects after few minutes. If I turn on and off Airplane mode, then internet works for few seconds, then no internet connection error. This cycle repeats. Hence, I am unable to use WiFi. Every time I have to rely on mobile data connection.

To fix this, I tried resetting the mobile network, WiFi and bluetooth settings to default. That did not solve my issue. Hence, performed a factory reset and started again. Even, this did not solve my issue. Help me get rid of this error. I am unable to use WiFi.

I had similar happen years ago on a phone. I found that the Sim card was making intermittent contact. I cut a small piece of Sellotape and stuck it on the Back of the Sim card so it made better contact. This cured it. I recall I needed two pieces.

HTH :)

Does that really solves the issue?

SIM does not need to be in the phone to connect via Wi-Fi.
As you have factory reset without solving the issue, you may need to contact a repair centre.
