Moto G6 Alexa - How to set Device security to None??

2019-07-23, 12:27 PM

Hi all.

I just purchased the "Moto G6 with Alexa Hands-Free 32 GB Unlocked" phone.   Previously I purchased a regular (non-Alexa) Moto G6 for another family member.

I'm trying to set the Screen Lock (under Device security) to "None."   Our other Moto G6 has these choices:

None
Swipe
Pattern
PIN
Password

But the new "Moto G6 with Alexa" only has these choices:

Swipe
Pattern
PIN
Password

How can I get the "None" option added to the list on the nw Moto G6 so we can select None?

Thanks!

Maybe try removing all certificates. Go to settings and search for 'remove all certificates'.

Edit: settings, security, encryption, clear credentials.
