Moto G6 Ali WiFi keeps disconnecting and reconnecting

I have a unlocked Moto G6 that came free with a Moto Z4 i purchased awhile back.  I've got it on AT&T prepaid.  The wifi will not stay connected.  It connects and pulls an ip address but then with in a couple minutes it starts disconnecting and reconnecting like crazy.  I turned on the guest wifi in my tp link access point and left it open.  It says connected to that best but still does the same thing.  I've done a factory reset multiple times.  I've changed the wifi password, I've done a number of things and nothing is working.  Can anyone help?

Hi WillardSpivens,

 

I would like to confirm, are you only experiencing this with your G6? When you did factory data reset, did you restore your apps or backup?

No, no I did not. I setup device as new. If I do not put a password on my guest network it stays connected to that pretty good. Its mainly a problem with secure networks. John Harvey

Hi WillardSpivens,

 

Thanks for confirming. It sounds like a hardware failure. Can you please try these steps on this link. It contains six troubleshooting. Please try all of them. Also, I'd like to add on step number 2, please "Forget" all WiFi devices connected/paired with your phone. And connect just with your home network.
