Battery draining moto g6 plus the same problem as with the g4 plus !....

I have the same problem with my g6 plus with battery draining , i don't understand why this problem STILL is possible with my new phone g6 plus and and Andröid 8 oreo !....

It was the same with my g4 plus , but after the update the problem was gone , i hope Motorola give us a.s.a.p. update for the g6 plus so that this same problem with the battery will be gone.

Hi 

I have bought Moto G6 and it's been 2 weeks. It has a rapid charging function but whenever I plug in the charger it always shows slow charging and it never turns to rapid charging.

I have rebooted the phone but nothing happened and also checked for the voltage in the rooms but it was the same all around. It took 3 hr to reach 35% from 4%. Please help me out.

Sorry to learn about the charging delay, we would like to help. Just to narrow down -- are you using the original charger and the cable in the box? Does it show "turbocharging" symbol when you connect it to the power source? Are you able to replicate that?

 

Try calibrating your device battery, to do so--- press and hold the power button until the screen turns off. The phone will reboot then on its own. We call this a hard reset; it's equivalent to pulling the battery in days of removable batteries. Charge the phone to 100% and then leave it on the charger for a few hours. Let us know how it goes?

 

Also, please update your profile with the IMEI number of your phone? Is it okay if we look into your apps? This will help us investigate. Make sure that your Motorola Privacy is enabled.

I got the Moto G6 a few days ago.  Besides the battery draining problem, it was never able to be charged properly since it's unboxed. Now it's not charging at all.  Thus, basically it's dying.  The phone will be totally dead by tomorrow morning.  Please help.

I see my future... Whenever I plug in charger.... I mean Turbocharger... It works properly.. but when I plug it in.. charging first starts then stops for 1 second and then restart .. then it goes on properly.... Must be some problem??? 

 

Btw I am having many issues that my fingers will take long.....

Is there any way I can REPLACE DEVICE??? 

I purchased it from a MOTOHUB.... If company can check my device and see any problems if any... Then can they request the MOTO HUB to replace my device????

 

Also when I paid attention... The device seems a bit bent -_-

It does sound like you may have damage, based on the intermittent charging comment. If that's the case, a repair will be necessary.

 

As for poor battery life, there seem to be three possible drivers.

  1. Poor mobile signal. You spend a good part of most days in poor or moderate coverage. That drains the battery.
  2. App crashes. We are still seeing different apps crashing. Would you consider running in Safe Mode (no apps) for a day to see if that improves things? (To go into Safe Mode, press the physical power key, then press and hold the pop-up "Power off" key until the Safe Mode instructions pop up.)
  3. Fully charging the battery. I don't know if you tried the calibration instructions posted here. Right now it looks like you are charging it nearly to full, but not always to 100 percent. You might try calibration and we do recommend leaving the phone on the charger overnight so you start the day fresh.
