Moto (not sure what model)

Hello 

Thank you for your help in advance.  Using headphone adapter on my phone but cannot get it to work.  So brought a new one...still having issues .. moto is not recognizing the headphones are in.  I have tried the device on other phones (my mom's samsung) works great.  Tried to find where I do the test hardware...could not find even through I went to help device app.  No option for headset.  Search headset and the options it comes up with not what I'm looking for.  Tried the turn phone off, hit volume up/down/power.  Did not work.  

Really would like to listen to things on my phone through headsets 

Please help

Thank you for posting. Are you using one of the Moto G6/G6 Play/G6 Plus? If so, unfortunately, we can't guarantee any headphone/earphones adapter would work. The phone has a 3.5 mm headphone jack that should work with CTIA standard. You can test the headset if it's detected by the phone or not through Device Help app > Device diagnosis > Hardware test > Audio Connection. The icon should change when you plug in and out the headphone. To confirm the model, go to Settings > System >  About Phone.
