Re: No incoming call screen

does clearing the data on the phone app wipe out the contact info? It says "This app's data will be deleted permanently. This includes all files, settings, accounts, databases, etc."

My G5 plus automatically shut off within a minute after turned on. Or it automatically shut off after one call. VERY FRUSTRATING as it happened every times and for the last few days, meaning the phone is practically a Junk!

Hi solarispower,

Thanks for reporting, sorry to know about the ongoing trouble. Please do not hijack the thread as it causes clutter on the site and makes it harder for us to follow an issue. We have moved your post to the correct community.

Regarding your 'auto switch off' issue can we quickly test in Safe Mode? Let us know how it goes?

Regards,

Swaraj

Hello Moto X4

There is no incoming call screen when the phone is locked . Answering incoming call it is necessary to first unlock the phone and then drag down the notification which point you can except the call after Android Pie update

In other respects the phone works just fine .

 Any ideas out there?

Hi Sujendra09,

Thanks for reporting to us, this is unusual. May I know from when did you start noticing this issue? Are you using any screen protector on your device? Just to narrow down—we can try a few steps here to troubleshoot the issue.

  • Perform Clear Cache/Data on the 'Phone app' under 'Apps and Notification' and 'Reboot' your device. Observe and let us know how it goes?
  • Have your device test in Safe Mode to see if this is an app issue? To go into Safe Mode, press the physical power key, then press and hold the pop-up " Power off" key until the Safe Mode instructions pop up. Reboot your device to get back to the 'Normal Mode'.

Let us know how it goes?

Hi, I'm new to the Moto G6 and forum. I am unable to see the caller when the phone rings and can't answer any calls. I've tried many searches and help subjects without any success yet

Thank you for any assistance you can provide. I've attempted many of the basic trial and error methods.  Nothing shows to be out of order.

After clearing cache yesterday, based on recommended suggestions in the forum answers you provided below,I went back and cleared data and cache. Then I restarted the phone. Then I was able to answer the phone as intended,so thank you very much.
