Turbo power connected flickering but not charging

2020-03-10, 11:45 AM

Hi,

since this morning my Moto G6 constantly makes the Turbo power connected sound when I try to charge it but it is not charging.

I see the charging icon when I hear the sound only but then it disappears.

The cable is good so that cannot be the problem.

Anyone else has this problem or anyone has a solution for this?

Hi Suman,

I purchased a new charger and it works fine so it was the charger that was broken.

It was the original Motorola charger and is was less than one year old.

Regards,

Michael

Turbo power connected flickering but not charging

2020-03-10, 14:26 PM
I have to add that I can charge my phone when I plug the usb cable in my laptop, I cleaned the Turbo power thing with an air duster but that did not help, so I still need a solution for this.

Hi Rosarium,

Sorry to know about this and thanks for posting! Can you check with another charger/adapter and see if it's the same? If the device is charging with the same USB cable via laptop, it could be that there is an issue with the adapter. Kindly check and let me know. Also, try charging the device in Safe Mode-- let's confirm, there isn't any problem with any third-party apps.

Regards,

Suman

Hi Suman, thanks for your reply. I have to buy another charger to check if the other one is broken so I will do that next week. I tried charging in safe mode but that did not help.

Regards,Michael

Thanks for the confirmation, let me know how it goes. If any of your friends or family have one, you can check with it.

Suman
