it's getting silly now and very irritating!!
several contributors have put time and effort into sending bug reports etc, only to be ignored.

Thank you. Should I be sending the phone somewhere for a warrenty claim? GPS is essential for me.
Well, if this is really troubling your day to day work-- you can process for a warranty claim or send your device for service/repair/replacement.
