Lenovo Smart Assistant Failed to match connected device

I'm trying to use the rescue function on Lenovo Moto Smart Assistant. I have a Moto G6 stuck in fastboot. Any way to force the program to recognize it? All I get is "failed to match the connected device". And yes the right drivers are installed.

Hi CAG6,

 

Thanks for trying the LMSA tool. I'd like to confirm, did you somehow sideload your software? If so, the tool will most likely not recognize the device as it's running a different OS. Let me know. Thanks.

Actually the device is stuck in fastboot mode. And I did not side load the software. However It will not recognized it. All it says is "failed to match connected device please reconnect". Or something close to that.

Hi CAG6,

 

Are you seeing recovery mode in the fastboot menu? If so, you can try the external reset. Also, I would recommend try connecting your phone to your PC using a different USB cable. And can you please confirm what's your carrier?

Hi team,

 

I'm also facing the same problem. getting error failed to match connected device. Plug it out and try again. tried doing it multiple times but no use. I haven't installed any external OS nor rooted my device. 

 

I just dont understand what is the issue here with my MOTO X4 XT1900-2 MODEL.

I tried all of the things you mentioned. For the Moto G6 Ali that is TracFone branded, can you give me the URL to manually download the rescue image from LMSA?

And I am out of warranty. That's why I'm asking for the download location of the LMSA Firmware for my model.

By the way I have 2 accounts on here. The other one was where I originally had the issue.

We can't guarantee that the tool will successfully help in pushing the software. I would recommend sending the phone to service for replacement or repair.
