The same problem here in The Netherlands.
My wife and I did another test.
Both my wife and I have the G6Play. I've got Pie, She got Oreo.
Change simcards. She has a problem with my phone, I don't have a problem with her phone.

Do a manual scan for a Network.Pick on that isn't yours.Let it fail. Then pick the correct one and restart the phone.
Also this weird trick can also work,
Go to Settings menu
Click Language(Language & Input on some phones)
Click Language and Region
And click Language
Change to a different Language and restart the phone'
Settings>Apps and let the list populate then...
Repeat above but change back to your language and restart the phone.

I have checked them, they are as on the webpage of T-mobile.
Darn.I was hoping manually re-entering them would help.
I know this sounds simple but have you tried leaving the phone fully off for say 5 mins and then resrarting it.Sometimes this lets the Networks latch onto the phone correctly when it's restarted :/
