Re: Minimum volume is way too loud

After the last update (just received a couple of days ago) it is impossible to turn off the dolby audio when on phone speaker.

I understand this is intended behaviour,

but apparently nobody bothered testing the minimum volume level when setting a 'lock' on the activation of dobly-audio (when on speaker-phone).

The major problem with the dolby audio enabled is in choosing the lowest volume setting for audio/video playback.

Its way too loud!

Please take action asap.

Also check other funtionalities when auto-switching the dolby-audio on dis-/connecting bluetooth-headsets. There are some minor flaws there.

@Krispoo, please don't be mad at @Swaraj,

Here are some reasons why Swaraj is surely going to help. 😉

Re: Minimum volume is way too loud

Posting this in every relevant thread because I'm sick of it

I take back my previous post about this not being the end of the world because third party EQ apps can fix it after you disable Dolby Audio.

Turns out android eq is a bit of a mess in general and other apps only work for some music players or don't notice when audio  starts playing so don't always turn on etc etc.

The real issue here is that a phone I bought which had much too loud minimum volume our the box, had the only way to turn it down removed for no reason.

Since Pie update I cannot listen to podcasts on my phone as I go to sleep, it is too loud.

I was sitting round the patio table with my family to other day, and I tried to watch a video on my phone without disturbing them too much. The audio was too loud - OUTSIDE

And let's be honest, because we all know this is one of the big ones. My phone is so loud now I can't watch porn without my.houssemates hearing through the walls.

We really need the option back to adjust Dolby for loudspeaker. This phone is currently unusable.

Re: Minimum volume is way too loud

June 2019...

Still a huge issue...

A big letdown...

I keep my phone now on mute, simply because any notification is too loud..

Needless to say that watching anything without annoying other people in the room is completely out of question.

I  need to stay alert if i recieve a msg because of work, but in order not to drive crazy everyone arround, myself included, mute is always on...

But being able to spot the vibration always on time demands constant attention and look out...

In one word...

Bull**bleep**
