Caller can't hear me throughout my call.

Very frustrating. Only had my G8 Plus for a few days and I can call people, either with Facebook Messenger or via actual call, and I can hear them perfectly, but they say they can hear me clearly and then it just goes quiet. And this either improves after 30 seconds or we have to end the call and start again.

Doesn't happen all the time but something's clearly going on.

Anyone else experienced this or is there a solution?

Obviously, can't keep a phone that I can't hold full conversations...

Re: Caller can't hear me throughout my call.

Hi HarryKostinaal,

Thanks for posting. Does this also happen during video or voice recording? During calls, does this also happen on speaker mode? Try performing a hardware test on the microphone by going to Moto Help/Device Help > Fix/Device Diagnosis > Hardware test > Microphone. Let me know how it goes.

Hi Zeke

I can't find Moto Help anywhere on my phone.

Can you advise? It's not in the Moto app and those options aren't anywhere in settings > Help.

Hi HarryKostinaal,

The hardware test is not in the Moto App its in the Moto Help app or Device help app. It should be there.
