AlphaDog thank you for replying. While we have your attention is there any "Official" update from the company on this? Maybe a beta test of N going on. Any news would be good news at this point. Thank You in advance. :)

I'm not AlphaDog, but I can tell you that even if there were any beta testing going on, signed non-disclosure agreements would prevent anyone from legally disclosing this information (or their participation).

What Princess_pooh says is correct. Even if i knew of testing, i couldn't mention it. There is no news either.

Re: Choppy call audio after MM upgrade w/VoLTE

I just received a Moto X Pure 2015 and updated it.  (Aug. 2016)  My calls are also chopy on a regular basis.  I haven't tried to determine whether it is strictly on VoLTE.  The chosen network is the VoLTE network.  My carrier is T-Mobile in the Philadelphia ares.  We have started geting a few of the band 12 towers in my area so VoLTE is rather important.

Probably won't know until the upgrade happens. My VoLTE has been turned off since I owned the Pure due to this.

I am sorry for resurecting this old thread but I have a question for Moto Support now that Android 7 is announced. Will the T-Mobile users(such as myself) be first in line for beta testing the new ROM? I was notified by Moto support as were other T-Mobile users that Android 7 would fix the VoLTE audio issue. Also I have expressed interest previously in being a tester, but I have received no response from Moto support. Thank You in advance.  :)

Just to set expectations - Motorola will not comment on any of this. If there is a soak or other OS test, users will be picked by whatever criteria Moto uses. Users will agree no to discuss and so no one could say if they were invited or not. If you are selected you will get a survey. Asking Moto Support won't change anything.

If you have signed up for the Moto Feedback network, then that is all you have to do. But it is no guarantee that you will be included in any testing.
