Is the Motorola Moto X Pure still functional?

2020-10-21, 23:42 PM

At this point, I am so dissapointed in Lenovo and how badly they've blown it with their new phones, I'd be willing to by an old used Motorola Moto X Pure, for just the following functions.

- Moto Voice
- Hands free operation
- Reading back of message hands free
- Respond to messages hands free
- Custom voice phrase that unlocks phone

Do all of these functions still work? does anyone know?

Thanks!

I still use mine and love it! I recently installed a new battery... been going strong since 2016. I wish they made something currently that was it's equal. I was hoping the Edge would be it, but that's been a disaster with the screen issues. How about they make the Edge without the odd screen shape with the same specs... Would that be a good one?

So the functions I mentioned all work? Wow.

And people keep mentioning the edge but I've never held one. Which model?
Thanks!

Hi Monster Bongos,

Moto Voice is not available on newer phones, but you can use Google Assistant with similar feature as Moto Voice.

No, I think I and my 14 employees will move on to another better managed company. Lenovo has really botched the product line. Thanks.

Hi Monster Bongos,

I'm sorry if you feel that way. I am more than willing to provide more details how Google Assistant work similar as the Moto Voice, if feel Google Assistant is totally different with Moto Voice. Just let me know. Thanks.
