How are you moving it to the SD card? That isn't supported in Marshmallow, are you still on Lollipop?

Yeah it is.  He's obviously running Adoptable Storage, as that's the ONLY way to move to SD in MM.

As for the rest of the issues, I'd probably migrate system user data back to internal (if moved to SD), move all apps back to internal, and reformat the SD card.  Look for any apps with dubious permissions too.

If Excel doesn't support SD installs, then don't move it to SD.

Hi Dracs34,

How did you know that this app is uninstalling on its own? Are you using a third party launcher?

Nova Launcher would not cause this.

Are you saying it disappears completely, from not only the desktop (Home screen), but also the app drawer and no longer appears in Settings - Apps?

Uninstalling apps is a user interactive process, only an app with administrative privelages (look in Settings-Security-Device Administrators to see if an app has that) or Google Play Services can forceably remove an app (on behalf of the Play Store, which is an extremely rare event used in cases of Malware, etc), or a misbehaved root app but your device must be rooted.

Of course, the best way to determine whats happening is install the app, do whatever triggers the removal, then check the log output with something like LogViewer Lite or similar app.

Yes disappears as in I must reinstall it all over again. Not rooted. Just happened again. I'll try that log viewer.
