Re: Moto X Style nougat help

Hey plz i want to request a feature

Plz give a patch on moto x style that  can allow us to move some system apps(which are not of use for some) like google zhuyin input, duo, etc.

This will help me and other users who want to free some of their internal storage

Since Motorola uses mostly stock android, a feature request like that would have to go to Google.

Google is the one that designed the Internal Adopted storage feature and what apps can be moved.

Re: Moto X Style nougat help

If you disable the apps that you don't use and delete the data of this apps the space that they use is almost negligible.

Anyway what you wanna do is possible but i don't recommend it because i didn't try it.

Go to settings, about phone and tap build number 7 times consecutive until you see a message saying "you are now a developer".

Go to settings, developer, and in the botton is an options that says something like "Force all apps to external storage ignoring android manifest". Activate that option. You need your sd card to be set as internal storage and not  as portable external storage.

Now you should be able to move all apps you want to the sd card including the google apps.

So the total of pre-installed apps should be very small. Personally,  I doubt Google will ever let users moved the google apps out of the internal storage.

But Google has their own product forums for Android and bug trackers and such.

Android is designed so that users don't have to manage RAM. I have never bothered to worry about RAM and my phone has always run fine.

My advice is to ignore the RAM tab and enjoy your phone.

Yes you are absolutely correct, but i want to say that actually i see some lags in my phone frequently.and my internal storage is free about 4 to 5 gb.so i thought that less ram would be the reason.so tell what to do.

Lag is usually individual apps running in the background and using CPU. It could be RAM, but who wants to spend time managing RAM?

It takes longer to try to close apps then it does to deal with the milliseconds of lag until the app i want gets loaded into RAM.
