Moto X pure edition 2018

2018-06-06, 2:20 AM

Moto X Style when it was released was a great phone i owned 2 of those :)

Motorola please come up with new Moto X pure Edition in 2018 , the best part about last moto x style i like was front facing loud speakers it was awesome :) please keep that same feature alive with dolby atmos feature and new changes as larger battery 3600 mah or above, 1440p screen resolution with 18:9 aspect ratio AMOLED screen, atleast snapdragon 835 cpu with 6 gb to 8gb ram, internal memory 64 gb or 128 gb with expandable SD card slot upto 2tb, turbo charger, need good camera for still photos and selfie, features in any light conditions, please keep the software near stock android experience with all MOTO actions features and support for future android updated OS and security & performance patches :)

MOTOROLA please come up with new edition of moto x pure edition so that i dont have to buy google pixel 2 phone for stock anroid experience. I have trust and faith on moto products :)

All your wishes would come true with Motorola. Only problem is there is no Motorola anymore.

Re: Moto X pure edition 2018

I moved from the Moto X 2015 to the Z2 Play...and the Z2 Play is great. The Z3 Play...just announced...is even better.

I was worried about losing the two front speakers, but the Z2 was plenty loud. And very loud when I slap the JBL mod on the back. In fact, I really like the Moto Mod universe of choices.

When I'm going to be on a plane for hours, I slap the battery pack on the back for hours of uninterrupted "screen on" time. Also, when I get off the plane the battery is fully charged.

When I'm doing a home project I put the JBL speakers on to turn it into a small boom box.

I like the thin woven carbon fiber style shell I can slap on the back for some extra gripping texture

I really like the incipio Moto mod vehicle mount, which has a charging connector so the mount plugs into power, not the phone. It also has a 3.5mm audio out jack on the mount I leave connected to my car radio aux in port. You just magnetically lock the phone to the car mount.

Oh, and battery life...even without the extra battery pack...is excellent.

Take a hard look at the Moto Z3 Play. Unless a Z4 comes out before the warranty on my Z2 Play runs out, it will probably be my next phone.

I appreciate what you are saying; however, my issues with that approach are:

  • You have to carry a variety of additional things to have available what you need.
  • When you take into account the total cost of phone PLUS the mods, you are in the Google Pixel 2 XL price range.
  • Lenovo doesn't really provide much in the way of updates to the phone either in the way of operating system updates or security updates.
  • Lenovo doesn't provide quality customer support.
  • Lenovo has a policy of -0- communication.

Regarding your wishes:  I agree.  If they followed your idea, they would have an incredible phone and I would buy one without hesitation.

trust me when i say our thoughts match, did you get any proper response from motorala, this discussion is so critical to me and i really want a moto x style/pure 2, i haven't been able to come across a phone like this in recent times, i recently bough a one plus 6, but i still like my moto x style, only if they could reconsider the hardware specs and release a second version i would by the phone on the launching date

Thanks Rich.  I love the phone and would like to be able to stick with the Moto X Pure line but Lenovo's lack of customer support, updates, and transparency has made that a very hard sell.  Perhaps with input from people like you, they will realize how close they actually are to having a winning brand.
