Motorola doesn't release dates for software updates.

But an update won't help with your problem. You won't be able to install it if you can't unlock your phone

Please advise if you can get me a screenshot and have updated your forum profile with the IMEI or SN from your device. I'd really like to take a look from my end. It almost sounds like someone got ahold of your Google account and used Android Device Manager to set a pin and lock screen message on your phone. Are you still able to log into your Google Account? Does the message you see look anything like this one?

-Tom

Why motorola is not realease security update every month  to their mobile to prevent these kind of attacks hah??

this is absolutely wrong.Respect your customers value.

I doubt the security patch on your phone has anything to do with your current state. I suspect as Tom says - someone logged into your Google account and has taken over your phone. Or you downloaded some malicious app and gave it permissions to take over your phone.

Android devices  will never get ransonware wannacry attack... @MotorolaTom the case you have just said is true (can be possible) but if any unknown person loggins from other device then we get an email on our hacked id that

New sign-in from Chrome on Windows

With date , time, ip.

So there is high security.. yes i agree they don't provide security patch updates but in future who knows wannacry might hack android also??

Since wannacry uses a windows smb vulnearbility, it can never be used to hack android. Other attacks maybe, but never wannacry.

several people have tried to help you with your problem, but instead of answering their questions you are focusing on software updates?

If you can't unlock your phone, and as you stated you can't even shut it off, you won't be able to install an update anyway. But you won't answer any questions so we really can't help you here.
