Accubattery?

Is Accubattery a good and accurate battery app to use? What's your thoughts?

Re: Accubattery?

I've tested loads of battery apps and battery saving apps on Android over the years and none of them do much IMHO and as Android has progressed it's power management has improved.

So I would say don't bother with any of them. Why do you think you need one?

Re: Accubattery?

My new Moto x4 showed 101% estimated battery health after the first charge. Couple of more charge sessions and it went down to 97%. after a week it's at 96%. So i don't know if the APP is reliable or the battery is bad.

Re: Accubattery?

You'll have to give it a few weeks to get an accurate view as modern LiOn betteries can take several cycles to settle in.There's mixed views on if it's good to let the battery deplete quite low a few times and then fully charge.Just use a search engine with some words like conditioning Smartphone batteries and then you'll have to draw your own conclusions on what do to Smiley Happy

Re: Accubattery?

I like it because of the alarm "charged up to 80%". This gives the battery a longer life, and it still has enough energy for the day.

All true. But keeping the battery between 20% and 80% or so means a longer battery life in my experience. So I do not charge over night, it is not necessary any longer. The X4 charges fast, even on my non-turbo 2.4 A charger. And it charges fast... until it reaches 80%. Smiley LOL
