Android One as part of Android's Beta Program?

Just got my new Moto X4 Android One, and just switched from Project Fi to T-Mobile.

With this device being an Android One, I'd think it would be able to benefit from the Android Beta Program, just like the Nexus and Pixel devices. But when I inquired at the Android Beta Program Google+ site, I was told it's up the Motorola, and not Google.

So, is it possible to get our Android One X4 in as part of the Android Beta Program?

It would be nice to be able to get each and every Android OS update.

Hi markmccoskey,

Looks like, currently, only Google devices are compatible to be part of Android Beta Program: Nexus 5X, Nexus 6P, Nexus Player,Pixel C, Pixel, Pixel XL. This can be found on Beta Program site: http://android.com/beta

Right. So how do we get Motorola's X4 Android One added to the program?

Android One isn't exactly Nexus or Pixel, but it's close.

Who can I talk to?

That is untrue. Samsung has already released a second beta of Oreo for the S8. I have many Lenovo/Motorola products, but your customer service is horrible. Either your staff is not educated or you are educated to lie.

To be exact 5 Moto phones and 3 Lenovo laptops. I love the quality of the devices, but the lack of customer service is inept.
