Android Pie - No gesture navigation on Moto X4

Hi.

I have just installed the Android Pie update and one of its best features it's not available. The new gestures system.

There's any explanation for that?

Anynon was able to enable it?

Hi Fabioteixei. The gestures should be under Moto Actions. Go to Moto > Moto Actions. Let us know if this helps.

This is not what I meant. I was talking about the new Android gestures system, the one that came in Pie update, not the Motorola one's.

Thank you for reporting, may I know how did you update your device? Was it via official OTA notification? Are you looking for a 'Swipe up on Home button' feature? Correct me if I am wrong?

Hi. I have received the update via the oficial OTA update.

I meant theses features.

• Tap: Go to the home screen
• Long press: Summon Google Assistant
• Swipe up: Enter Overview screen
• Long swipe up: Open app drawer
• Flick right: Switch to last used app
• Swipe right: Browse recently opened apps
• Swipe left: Nothing
• Back button: Return to the previous screen

Same here. I've downloaded the update via OTA by Android settings, and this feature is not available.

Yeah I don't have the gestures either like my Pixel. I did update and install via recovery SD card so that could be why.

Also installed the Pie update via OTA, no hint of an option for the new "gesture navigation pill", regardless of launcher used there's no "Swipe up on home button" under System > Gestures, nor anything similar on the "Moto" app under moto actions.

Android Pie gesture navigation is only available on our Android One devices (motorola one, motorola one power, and Moto X4 Android one). The path to enable is System > Settings > Gestures > Swipe up on Home button. Non-Android One or Retail phones will not have the new Pie gesture navigation. If you have One Button Nav in the Moto app, you will still have One Button Nav after updating to Pie.
