Dead moto x4

2020-06-14, 5:06 AM
My phone was wedged in a position that probably pressed all buttons at the same time. It was ok n as hard case but buttons exposed. By the time I found it, it was dead. Now it will not charge or turn on. Any suggestions?

1 1/2 hrs. And the case is stone cold. Whereas it would usually be warm

Once this morning, I pushed & held the power and volume down button for 40 seconds and a screen came up. Black screen with a bunch of small text and the word start pointing to the power button. I pressed it and it went out again. Can't get it to come up again.

Hi ScttLee,

It looks like this a hardware failure. I would suggest try booting your phone in recovery to perform external reset. You may follow the steps here. See if you're able to boot up the phone, otherwise, it is recommended to submit the device to service.

Best regards,
Rich
