Thanks for the post. Does it happen to both the speaker and the receiver? I recommend testing the speaker and receiver in the Moto Help app > Diagnosis > Hardware Test. Let me know if there's sound.

But receiver test failed.

Receiver sound problem in Moto X4

Thanks for the post. I just merged your post on this existing thread. Can you please tell me more about what you're experiencing? Does the receiver also not working for regular phone calls and calls using third-party calls? Try booting your phone in safe mode and see if it's still the same. How about the speaker - does it have a sound?
To Enable Safe Mode
1. Press and hold the Power button until Power off comes up on the screen.
2. Touch and HOLD Power off on the screen until reboot to safe mode appears.
Just turn off and on the phone to boot back to normal mode.
