How to downgrade from Pie 9.0 to Oreo 8.1

2018-12-18, 5:17 AM

Hi dude, I have just upgraded to Pie early today, but to find an App failed to work. The App is essential to me.

Do any guys know how to downgrade?

Highly appreciated for solutions.

hey bro instead of downgrading try to factory reset first. it's obvious that sometimes app crashes when you do a major upgrade. youvcan downgrade but that might end up bricking your device so i rather suggest reset your phone first and if it still crashes then you can go ahead and let ke know

Which app fails?

You cannot roll back to previous versions.

Thank you for the suggestion bro. However, the factory reset does not work...I have confirmed with app developer, the App is out of maintenance already. Thus the only solution is downgrade from Pie to Oreo...

Hey bro. if you want to downgrade then you need to unlock bootloader for that and find a proper firmware for your device model number from here . I may suggest you to talk to the app maintainer to get upgrade the app bcos downgrading might end up bricking your device. but if you are keen to downgrade. follow this tutorial and you are good to go

best regards
