Moto X4 not responding

My Moto X4 is hung at a screen and is not responding. Its just stuck at a screen. I have tried to restart it using the power button but that also is not working. I have tried power + down volume button as well but that did not work either. Please help.

Hi abhishek624,

 

I will try my best to help you fix this. Does the phone respond if the phone is plugged into a charger? Try doing holding the power button this time its plugged in to a charger. Let me know if it will reboot.

Hi,

 

The phone battery got over and it switched off. I connected it to the charger and is shows as charging. I have tried to hold down the power button while connecting it to the charger but its not starting.

Thank you for trying! I would suggest you charge the device for at least an hour and try rebooting the phone by removing SIM and SD card if you have inserted them. Let me know what you will find out.

Hi,

 

The phone battery shows its at 100% when I connect the charger and I have removed the sim card. Also, I'm not using SD card. I have tried to restart using the power button but its not starting.

Is there any software available from Motorola which I can use to connect and restart the phone? or is there any other way to restart the phone?

Thank you for trying! I would say try Rescue & Smart Assistant, to try rescuing/repairing the phone. However, this will also factory reset your device so I would recommend backing up everything first should you try to go this route. If that does not help, sorry to say repair would be the next option. Please let me know if you need further assistance. We are here to help!
