Turn off screen timeout

I want to ocassionally leave my Moto 4 plugged in and always on to use as a video monitor for the Alfred security App. Is this possible?

Re: Turn off screen timeout

Hi DennisKK,

Thanks for the post. This is interesting, 30 minutes is the maximum screen time-out you can set on the phone. If you want to set the screen to always-on, I don't see any native ways to do that but you can try some third-party apps available in Play Store - Just note that it is recommended to have the screen at least rest and time-off to avoid bad performance and future issues.

Re: Turn off screen timeout

Thanks for the reply. I'll try to find an old unused smart phone so that if it's damaged by leaving it on, no real loss.

Re: Turn off screen timeout

Turns out the phone used as the camera for the Alfred Camera app can go to sleep and the video still records, so it's all good.
