Can I activate on

2017-09-05, 18:09 PM

My daughter really wants a Moto Z2 Force--but we use Cricket.  I can't find anything that says it will or will not work.  Anyone tried to activate an AT&T Moto Z2 Force on Cricket(Since they own Cricket)?

It looks like you can't:

I did see that - but the phone she has now is a Moto X that was an old AT&T phone.  It works on Cricket, but not sure I want to risk $720 to see if the new one will.  I guess we look elsewhere.

Thanks!

Is that link gospel regarding "compatibility"?

Clearly the z phones have the radios capable of being on, say, total wireless if they work on Verizon.

The engineer in me says that if the table is true then it's simply a software configuration/blacklist, not technical.

Can anyone confirm the validity of the list?  I.e. is a z2 play the only z phone that would work on total wireless?

Thanks for sharing any experiences you may have had.
