Fingerprint

Do you always have to enter pin after touching fingerprint reader? I only want fingerprint to work, and if it doesnt then pin.

Occassionally i have to enter pin - after a reboot or some extended time periods.  Also on phones with corrporate exchange or mobile device mmanagement software, you may bbe forced for pin more often.

Ok so far I have to always use pin after finger, maybe I did something wrong or maybe a reboot might help. Thanks for quick response, bought couple hours ago and still playing.

Fingerprint

Ops I posted on Play instead of Force. Maybe the same, however Iam always required to enter pin after I touch fingerprint. Thought fingerprint would unlock unless a back up required. What did I do wrong?

Check in settings - security and see if fingerprint is setup.  Maybe you just enabled the fingerprint reader for gestures and you didnt register any finger prints.

Which phone do you have? Z2 force, z force, z play or Z2 play?

Found that the 3rd party app called screen off caused the problem. Had this app on several (Droid,,,,Motorola phones) that had no fingerprint reader. THANKS FOLKS! Next step to find a case that works with mods.

0 person found this solution to be helpful.

This helped me too
