Hello Everyone,

Thanks for all the reports. I'd like to confirm, are we all having the same slow WiFi download speed? Can you send me a screenshot of your download speed (Download Speedtest in Play Store). Also, please update your profile with current phone, carrier and serial number -- this will help me investigate.

Need help updating your profile? See here. https://forums.lenovo.com/t5/Forum-Feedback/Complete-your-forums-profile/td-p/3339943

Best regards,

Just in my personal opinion the main issue is the continuous up & down of the wifi connection, I think the speed is connected to this.

I can update my profile with the requested data if this can help finding the solution.

It's less the speed than the phone not being able to maintain the connection. A while after restarting the device the WiFi connection will drop every few seconds. First it still shows an active WLAN connection, but you cannot connect to any service anymore. A bit later, you are disconnected. This behavior will not change until restarting the phone again.

Yes, it will be better a wifi log file than this speedtest.

It's strange but my brother's Force now has stable wifi connection - but i contact with Motorola Germany yesterday. My Force still in the repair center, i'm unable to test it.

I have updated my profile, but cannot do speed test or screenshot as I am traveling.

When I get to the campground and get on their WiFi I'll see what happens.

For me, the big problem has been staying connected. WiFi would keep dropping and reconnecting.

I updated my profile adding phone and IMEI. Hope it helps. As I said (and other users too) the main problem is the contiuous disconnections from wifi.

Hi

I can't register my device in ''my stuff'. I received my Z2 Force in sostitution to a Moto X Force with screen problems. I tryed to insert the IMEI but it doesn't work, I also asked to Italian Motorola Care to help me, but they can't do it. Can you help me?

Z2 Force IMEI: removed

Italian assistance asked also for the replaced Moto X Force IMEI: removed

Thank You!

Hello Everyone,

This is unusual. I would suggest resetting your network settings (Settings > System > Advanced > Reset Options > Reset WiFi, Mobile, & Bluetooth). Once done, go back to WiFi Settings, make sure no other paired WiFi devices connected to your phone. Set up and pair your WiFi again. Let me know if there's any improvement. Thanks.

Already done, it's the first thing I did, no improvements.

I think the problem is in the rom, not with the wifi settings. :smileyfrustrated: or call settings.
