Re: Moto Z2 Force wifi issues after Android 9 Pie update

He's 'whining'... Really?! This is a shambles of an error, and disgusting customer service we're talking about. A fault pushed to my phone in an update I can't undo. That may be acceptable to some, but not me!

I'm not whining, it's a not acceptable issue for a mobile device! I need to restart 2-3 a day because i often switch WLANs (work you now?!). So Motorola, fix it!

Mods do not even react here, you should ask in another thread, where potential customers for latest models are looking in. I guess, your posts will just be deleted but it might be worth a try.

It's just like you mentioned. Motorola / Lenovo doesn't care to fix those issues. They need manpower to solve it which costs money and they don't willing to do that. Probably most people don't complain about it and take it as it is. For me, in fact, I'll look for another manufacturer for the next phone. Shame on Lenovo!

Re: Moto Z2 Force wifi issues after Android 9 Pie update

Hey, it came back!

I had a long run without wifi problems, had some other lag issues, so I reset all a couple of weeks ago, and reinstalled my apps slowly, as needed. Haven't been keeping track of when I installed what or anything (in the unlikely event that this is app-related).

I have the issue at home, but not at work.

I have the issue on ONE SSID of my home network, but not the second, identical (except name) 5G SSID, and not the 2.4G SSID

It drops so fast, it drops a couple of times while the first bug report is being generated.

I'm putting them in a new, separate folder on my Google Drive and will send @Agent_Rich the new URL

Still nothing. No fix, no answer, no statement, no apology. Send bug reports to trash@lenovo.com.

And don't forget to by the next moto phone!

I still absolutely can't believe how bad Motorola are with this. This should be all over the news to shame the company. They've lost a previously loyal customer in me with the lack of action on this.

I just heard, the lucky guys, who did not install the update update immediatly but checked for problems first, still need to decline the update again and again, so lenovo is still running out an update, which kills their customers' phones, incredible.

I will not make the mistake to buy a Lenovo/Motorola product again too soon. And I will make sure others are warned too.

I *might* understand if this happened with an entry-level model, but this was Motorola's Flagship device. You clearly showed us how much you truly care about your customers (insert poop emoji here) and what's actually important to you (insert money emoji here).
