Could you give an instruction for flashing? Just in case I will loose all my nerves and hopes ...

Re:Moto Z2 Force wifi issues after Android 9 Pie update

I have nothing useful to add except to say that my wife's z2 force is exhibiting the same issues ever since the Pie update. Just as with everyone else, I've tried the workarounds listed in this thread and nothing has worked.

Re:Moto Z2 Force wifi issues after Android 9 Pie update

I think it is connected to certain apps, for example I have an app from fugo games called WOW and to play that I have to disconnect the wifi otherwise the connection gets very bad, think that this also occurs on other apps that downloads a lot of commersial. Doing a reset and not playing apps with massive commersial download keps the phone working allright.

Keep off comersial apps on wifi- only play on mobile net and te phone works fine. Sill Motoroa ha to find the sulution to this

Good day to everyone. Especially to Agent_Rich, who mostly keeping silence. Just wanted to report a case i experienced. Usually i need to restart my phone once in 2-3 days because of our common issue here. But, i was visiting a friend , where i was staying for 6 days. I must say i didnt experience any slowdown or other issues with the wi-fi connection there. At home i use Vodafone router and their internet. At friends place i think that was fritzbox router and i dont know which provider. But i can ask if necessary. What brought me to an idea, that it seems there is some sort of big incompatibility on the driver level of wi-fi either with certain providers and/or routers which was implemented with android pie, update.

Hi Everyone,

I apologize it's taking too long and for having no any updates on this. I've been discussing this with teams since I raised this and we're still having discussion about this. I understand how you feel and I just responded here to let you know that I don't just keep myself in silence. This was brought up almost every meeting we had. I will let you know soon. Thanks.

Best regards,
Rich

Not sure if people working in lenovo are d..b or what's ever or simply they just ain't gonna do a thing about it. I think what could help.. maybe someone knows or has a possibility to write an article about this and publish it to any famous tech website. It would be a great anti-commercial for moto regarding failing their clients and keeping promises. Maybe then they would take action to solve it and give an official answer via media. It would be nice to publish this on some brazil website wherr they have a strong market or at least had one. I don't think samsung or apple would ever let this happen.. i tend not give up ever but sometimes it just becomes a waste of our time which is precious and limited.

Same here: Lenovo bricks my (almost new) Moto Z2 with an update almost a year ago and does not take responsibility. This ist certainly a management decision, and we can be sure that they will not consider any improvement without a public outcry. Why should they? Smartphone buyers change their paths from time to time (managers change their employers even more often) and nobody will relate a loss of customers to this devastating decision. Even if they are going to fix the bug this will be my last Moto-Phone. And I regret all the Moto-recommendations for friends and family I made in the last years - but who cares if they lose their multipliers? Certainly none of these managers.
