Same problem for me. Connecting and reconnecting and speedtest showing only 10% of usual rates. Tried network reset and reboots (it's fine for max. one hour) and other tricks, but nothing worked. Got a AVM Fritz.Box as router and all other devices work fine.

Wifi is not usable after the pie update, so a patch is urgently needed.

Make sure your WIFI Link Speed has not changed since the update, mines is still 866Mb/s.

FAST.COM is not accurate for me, it reads too high at 480Mb/s (I am on 350/35 and with contention get avg 385/36).

Try SPEEDTEST (bellow) and/or http://proof.ovh.net/

You dont understand the problem.
It's no matter fast.com or speedtest. When i check the speedtest wasn't able to start. Sometimes the speed is good, and the problem not with the speed. The problem is with the signal dropping and call freezings etc.

Thank god its not only me so theres hopefully a fix coming. The issue started right after the latest update.

Best case I have 2-3 minutes of browsing and 20 seconds downtime, worst case the other way around.

Sometimes I get a ? on the wifi then shortly after an X and then it starts again but sometimes the wifi says I am connected as normal but nothing is loading.

Clicking the wifi off and on works most of the time but often only for ten seconds or so then it stops loading again.

Glad I have a good deal on mobile data right now.

I have exactly the same issue.

Everything worked fine before the update.

Now my Z2 Force is nearly unusable.

Will there be a fix soon or should I look out for a new smartphone?

No one here knows if and when any new software, or patches are being released or even if they are being worked on.  But if they do decide to work on a patch for this WiFi issue (and that's a big if) it takes time and could be a while before released.

I do understand but if it works for me it cannot be a blanket across the board issue for all users who updated to PIE.

The topic says "Moto Z2 Force wifi issues after Android 9 Pie update".

I do not have any but not to say I am happy with Lenovo or the crappy buggy Oero we had for so long and some of changes in Pie I do not like but my hardware issues are gone like fingerprint mostly not reading etc.

I think the Verizon's Z2 Forces dont have this issues. I see a lot of users - and here in Hungary all of the users - with RETEU variant of the phone has the problem.

In the XDA i found a solution, but it said it need to reflash the non-hlos.bin & erase the modems data - but i think the July's update with 460 mb will fix this issues for us.
